California Hotel/Lodging Association (CH&LA)

The California Hotel & Lodging Association (CH&LA) is the largest and most influential state lodging association in the world and is the only California lodging association affiliated with the American Hotel & Lodging Association. CH&LA's history of service to California's lodging industry reaches back 111 years to the California Hotel Association that was organized on November 15, 1893 for the purposes of actively representing the interests and furthering the prestige of the state's burgeoning hotel industry. CH&LA strives to represent and serve the unique interests of each segment of California's diverse lodging industry.

Fleet Reserve Association (FRA)*

FRA is a congressionally chartered, non-profit organization representing the interests of current and former enlisted members of the Sea Service community including the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. In additional to advocating for U.S. Sea Service personnel, FRA aids it members with career issues by maintaining close relationships with government agencies and by educating lawmakers about the difficulties faced by those serving in the armed forces. Members are also eligible for financial assistance through scholarship programs and disaster relief grants.

The American Legion

The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, mutual-help, war-time veterans organization. A community-service organization which now numbers nearly 3 million members -- men and women -- in nearly 15,000 American Legion Posts worldwide. These Posts are organized into 55 Departments -- one each for the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, France, Mexico, and the Philippines.
